1
And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
2
“And you, son of Adam, thus says Adonai Yahuah to the land of Yisra’el: ‘An end. The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
3
Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you, and judge you according to your ways, and I will place upon you all your abominations.
4
And My eye shall not spare you, and I will not have compassion. But I will place your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in your midst. And you shall know that I am Yahuah.’
5
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Evil— one evil— see, it comes.
6
An end has come. The end has come. It has awakened against you. See, it comes.
7
The doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land. The time has come. The day is near— tumult, and not joyful shouting upon the mountains.
8
Now, near at hand, I will pour out My wrath upon you, and complete My anger against you. And I will judge you according to your ways, and place upon you all your abominations.
9
And My eye shall not spare, and I will not have compassion. According to your ways I will place upon you, and your abominations shall be in your midst. And you shall know that I, Yahuah, am the One striking.
10
See, the day. See, it comes. The doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.
11
Violence has risen into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, none of their multitude, none of their wealth, and no splendor among them.
12
The time has come. The day has drawn near. Let not the buyer rejoice, and let not the seller mourn, for wrath is upon all its multitude.
13
For the seller shall not return to what was sold, even if their life is still among the living. For the vision concerns all its multitude; it shall not turn back. And because of his crookedness, no ish shall strengthen himself in his life.
14
They have blown the shofar and prepared everything, but none goes to battle, for My wrath is upon all its multitude.
15
The sword is outside, and pestilence and famine are inside. The one who is in the field shall die by the sword, and the one who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall consume him.
16
And those who escape shall escape, and shall be upon the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each ish in his crookedness.
17
All hands shall become weak, and all knees shall run with water.
18
And they shall gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them. And shame shall be upon every face, and baldness upon all their heads.
19
Their silver they shall cast into the streets, and their gold shall become unclean. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahuah. They shall not satisfy their beings, and they shall not fill their inward parts, for it became the stumbling block of their crookedness.
20
And the beauty of His ornament they made into pride, and they made from it the images of their abominations and their detestable things. Therefore I have made it unclean to them.
21
And I will give it into the hand of foreigners for plunder, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it.
22
And I will turn My face from them, and they shall profane My hidden place. And violent ones shall enter it and profane it.
23
Make the chain, for the land is full of judgments of blood, and the city is full of violence.
24
And I will bring the most evil of the nations, and they shall possess their houses. And I will cause the pride of the strong to cease, and their sanctuaries shall be profaned.
25
Destruction comes. And they shall seek shalom, but there shall be none.
26
Disaster shall come upon disaster, and report shall be upon report. And they shall seek a vision from the prophet, but Torah shall perish from the kohen, and counsel from the elders.
27
The king shall mourn, and the ruler shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall tremble. According to their way I will do to them, and by their Judgments I will judge them. And they shall know that I am Yahuah.’”
