1
And I looked, and see, upon the expanse that was over the head of the keruvim there appeared above them something like a sapphire stone, in appearance like the likeness of a Throne.
2
And He spoke to the ish clothed in linen and said: “Go in between the wheels, beneath the keruvim, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the keruvim, and scatter them over the city.” And he went in before my eyes.
3
And the keruvim were standing on the right side of the House when the ish went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.
4
And the Glory of Yahuah rose from above the keruv to the threshold of the House. And the House was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the Glory of Yahuah.
5
And the sound of the wings of the keruvim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of El Shaddai when He speaks.
6
And it came to pass, when He commanded the ish clothed in linen, saying: “Take fire from between the wheels, from between the keruvim,” that he went in and stood beside a wheel.
7
And one keruv stretched out his hand from between the keruvim toward the fire that was between the keruvim, and took some and placed it into the hands of the one clothed in linen. And he took it and went out.
8
And there appeared in the keruvim the form of the hand of Adam beneath their wings.
9
And I looked, and see, four wheels beside the keruvim, one wheel beside each keruv. And the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of Tarshish stone.
10
And as for their appearance, the four had one likeness, as though a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.
11
When they went, they went toward their four sides. They did not turn when they went. But to the place toward which the head faced, after it they went. They did not turn when they went.
12
And all their flesh, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes all around—the wheels of the four of them.
13
As for the wheels, in my hearing they were called: “The Whirling Wheels.”
14
And each one had four faces: the first face was the face of the keruv, the second face was the face of Adam, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15
And the keruvim rose. These were the living beings that I had seen by the river Kevar.
16
And when the keruvim went, the wheels went beside them. And when the keruvim lifted their wings to rise from upon the earth, the wheels also did not turn away from beside them.
17
When they stood, these stood. And when they rose, these rose with them, for the ruach of the living being was in them.
18
And the Glory of Yahuah went out from over the threshold of the House and stood over the keruvim.
19
And the keruvim lifted their wings and rose from the earth before my eyes when they went out, and the wheels were beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the east gate of the House of Yahuah. And the Glory of the Elohim of Yisra’el was over them from above.
20
These were the living beings that I had seen beneath the Elohim of Yisra’el by the river Kevar. And I knew that they were keruvim.
21
Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. And the likeness of the hands of Adam was beneath their wings.
22
And the likeness of their faces was the same faces that I had seen by the river Kevar—their appearance and themselves. Each one went straight toward the face before him.
