1
And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
2
“And you, son of Adam, will you judge, will you judge the city of blood? Then cause her to know all her abominations.
3
And you shall say: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahuah: A city shedding blood in her own midst, so that her time may come, and making idols against herself to become unclean.
4
By your blood that you have shed you have become guilty, and by your idols that you have made you have become unclean. And you have caused your days to draw near and have come to your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a mockery to all the lands.
5
Those near and those far from you shall mock you, you defiled of name, great in confusion.
6
See, the rulers of Yisra’el, each according to his arm, have been in you to shed blood.
7
Father and mother they have treated with contempt in you. The stranger they have oppressed in your midst. The fatherless and the widow they have mistreated in you.
8
My holy things you have despised, and My Shabbatot you have profaned.
9
Men of slander have been in you to shed blood. And upon the mountains they have eaten in you. Lewdness they have done in your midst.
10
The nakedness of a father they have uncovered in you. An ishah unclean in her separation they have humbled in you.
11
And one has done abomination with the ishah of his companion. And another has defiled his daughter-in-law with lewdness. And another has humbled his sister, daughter of his father, in you.
12
Bribes they have taken in you to shed blood. Interest and increase you have taken, and you have violently gained from your companions by oppression. And Me you have forgotten,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
13
‘And see, I strike My hand at your unjust gain that you have made, and at your blood that has been in your midst.
14
Shall your heart endure, or shall your hands be strong, in the days when I deal with you? I, Yahuah, have spoken, and I will do it.
15
And I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the lands, and I will consume your uncleanness from you.
16
And you shall be profaned in yourself before the eyes of the nations, and you shall know that I am Yahuah.’”
17
And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
18
“Son of Adam, the House of Yisra’el has become dross to Me. All of them are bronze, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of a furnace. They are dross of silver.
19
Therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Because all of you have become dross, therefore see, I am gathering you into the midst of Yerushalayim.
20
As silver, and bronze, and iron, and lead, and tin are gathered into the midst of a furnace to blow fire upon them and melt them, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath, and I will place you there and melt you.
21
And I will gather you, and blow upon you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst.
22
As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall you be melted in its midst. And you shall know that I, Yahuah, have poured out My wrath upon you.’”

And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
24
“Son of Adam, say to her: ‘You are a land that is not cleansed, and not rained upon in the day of indignation.
25
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst, like a roaring lion tearing prey. They devour beings. Treasure and precious things they take. They multiply her widows in her midst.
26
Her kohenim have done violence to My Torah and have profaned My holy things. Between the holy and the common they have made no distinction, and between the unclean and the clean they have not caused to be known. And from My Shabbatot they have hidden their eyes, and I am profaned in their midst.
27
Her rulers in her midst are like wolves tearing prey, shedding blood, destroying beings, to gain unjust gain.
28
And her prophets have coated for them with whitewash, seeing emptiness and divining falsehood for them, saying: “Thus says Adonai Yahuah,” when Yahuah has not spoken.
29
The people of the land have practiced oppression and committed robbery. And they have mistreated the poor and needy, and oppressed the stranger without Judgment.
30
And I sought from among them an ish who would build up the wall and stand in the breach before My face for the land, that I should not destroy it. But I found none.
31
Therefore I have poured out My indignation upon them. With the fire of My wrath I have consumed them. Their way I have placed upon their own head,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.”
