1
And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
2
“Son of Adam, set your face toward the sons of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
3
And say to the sons of Ammon: ‘Hear the Word of Adonai Yahuah. Thus says Adonai Yahuah: Because you said, “Aha!” against My Sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Yisra’el when it was made desolate, and against the House of Yehudah when they went into exile,
4
therefore see, I am giving you to the sons of the east as a possession. And they shall set their encampments in you and place their dwellings in you. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.
5
And I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. And you shall know that I am Yahuah.
6
For thus says Adonai Yahuah: Because you clapped your hands, and stamped with your feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your being against the land of Yisra’el,
7
therefore see, I will stretch out My hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples, and cause you to perish from the lands. I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am Yahuah.’
8
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Because Moav and Se’ir have said: “See, the House of Yehudah is like all the nations,”
9
therefore see, I am opening the flank of Moav from its cities, from its cities at its borders— the glory of the land: Beit-HaYeshimot, Baal-Meon, and Qiryatayim—
10
to the sons of the east, together with the sons of Ammon. And I will give it as a possession, so that the sons of Ammon may no longer be remembered among the nations.
11
And upon Moav I will execute Judgments. And they shall know that I am Yahuah.’
12
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Because Edom acted in vengeance against the House of Yehudah and became exceedingly guilty by taking vengeance upon them,
13
therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: I will stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off from it Adam and beast. And I will make it a desolation from Teman, and as far as Dedan they shall fall by the sword.
14
And I will place My vengeance upon Edom by the hand of My people Yisra’el. And they shall do in Edom according to My anger and according to My wrath. And they shall know My vengeance,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
15
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Because the Pelishtim acted in vengeance, and took vengeance with contempt in their being, to destroy with everlasting hostility,
16
therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: See, I am stretching out My hand against the Pelishtim. And I will cut off the Keretim and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
17
And I will execute great vengeance upon them with rebukes of wrath. And they shall know that I am Yahuah, when I place My vengeance upon them.’”
