And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:

“Son of Adam, prophesy and say: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahuah: Wail: “Ah, the day!”
3
For the day is near, yes, the Day of Yahuah is near— a day of clouds, a time of the nations.
4
And a sword shall come upon Mitzrayim, and anguish shall be in Kush, when the slain fall in Mitzrayim, and they take away her multitude, and her foundations are torn down.
5
Kush, and Put, and Lud, and all the mixed multitude, and Kuv, and the sons of the land of the Covenant shall fall with them by the sword.
6
Thus says Yahuah: Those who support Mitzrayim shall fall, and the pride of her strength shall come down. From Migdol to Seveneh they shall fall in her by the sword,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
7
‘And they shall be desolate in the midst of desolated lands, and her cities shall be in the midst of ruined cities.
8
And they shall know that I am Yahuah, when I place fire in Mitzrayim and all her helpers are broken.
9
In that day messengers shall go out from before My face in ships, to terrify secure Kush. And anguish shall come upon them as in the day of Mitzrayim, for see, it comes.’
10
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘I will cause the multitude of Mitzrayim to cease by the hand of Nevukhadnetzar king of Bavel.
11
He and his people with him, the ruthless of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land. And they shall draw their swords against Mitzrayim and fill the land with the slain.
12
And I will make the rivers dry and sell the land into the hand of evil men. And I will make the land and all that fills it desolate by the hand of foreigners. I, Yahuah, have spoken.’
13
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘I will destroy the idols and cause the worthless images to cease from Nof. And there shall no longer be a ruler from the land of Mitzrayim. And I will place fear in the land of Mitzrayim.
14
And I will make Patros desolate, and place fire in Tzoan, and execute Judgments upon No.
15
And I will pour out My wrath upon Sin, the stronghold of Mitzrayim, and cut off the multitude of No.
16
And I will place fire in Mitzrayim. Writhing, Sin shall writhe. And No shall be torn open, and Nof shall have adversaries by day.
17
The young men of Aven and Pi-Veset shall fall by the sword, and these cities shall go into captivity.
18
And at Tachpanches the day shall grow dark, when I break there the yokes of Mitzrayim. And the pride of her strength shall cease in her. A cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
19
And I will execute Judgments upon Mitzrayim. And they shall know that I am Yahuah.’”
20
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:

“Son of Adam, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Mitzrayim. And see, it has not been bound up for healing, to place a bandage upon it, to bind it, that it may become strong to grasp the sword.
22
Therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘See, I am against Pharaoh king of Mitzrayim. And I will break his arms— the strong one and the one already broken— and I will cause the sword to fall from his hand.
23
And I will scatter Mitzrayim among the nations and disperse them through the lands.
24
And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel and place My sword in his hand. But I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he shall groan before his face with the groanings of one pierced.
25
And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall. And they shall know that I am Yahuah, when I place My sword into the hand of the king of Bavel and he stretches it out against the land of Mitzrayim.
26
And I will scatter Mitzrayim among the nations and disperse them through the lands. And they shall know that I am Yahuah.’”
