1
And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:

“Son of Adam, lift up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Mitzrayim and say to him: ‘You considered yourself a young lion among the nations, yet you were like the tannin in the seas. And you burst forth in your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and muddied their rivers.
3
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: I will spread My net over you with an assembly of many peoples, and they shall bring you up in My net.
4
And I will cast you upon the land. Upon the face of the field I will throw you, and I will cause all the birds of the heavens to dwell upon you, and satisfy all the beasts of the earth from you.
5
And I will place your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.
6
And I will water the land with your flowing blood, as far as the mountains, and the ravines shall be filled from you.
7
And when I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and cause their stars to become dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.
8
All the lights that shine in the heavens I will cause to become dark over you, and I will place darkness upon your land,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
9
‘And I will provoke the heart of many peoples when I bring your breaking among the nations, into lands that you have not known.
10
And I will cause many peoples to be astonished over you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid over you when I wave My sword before their faces. And they shall tremble continually, each ish for his own being, in the day of your fall.’
11
For thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘The sword of the king of Bavel shall come upon you.
12
By the swords of mighty ones I will cause your multitude to fall— the ruthless of the nations, all of them. And they shall destroy the pride of Mitzrayim, and all her multitude shall be destroyed.
13
And I will cause all her beasts to perish from beside many waters. And the foot of Adam shall no longer trouble them, nor shall the hooves of beasts trouble them.
14
Then I will cause their waters to settle, and cause their rivers to flow like oil,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
15
‘When I make the land of Mitzrayim a desolation, and the land is emptied of its fullness, when I strike all those dwelling in it, then they shall know that I am Yahuah.
16
This is a lamentation, and they shall lament it. The daughters of the nations shall lament it. Over Mitzrayim and over all her multitude they shall lament it,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.”

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
18
“Son of Adam, wail over the multitude of Mitzrayim, and bring her down—her and the daughters of majestic nations—to the land beneath, with those descending to the pit.
19
‘Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.’
20
In the midst of those slain by the sword they shall fall. To the sword she has been given. Draw her away and all her multitude.
21
The mighty among the warriors shall speak to him from the midst of Sheol, with those who helped him: ‘They have gone down. They lie there— the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.’
22
Ashshur is there and all her assembly. Her graves are all around her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword.
23
Her graves are placed in the deepest parts of the pit, and her assembly is all around her grave. All of them slain, fallen by the sword, who placed terror in the land of the living.
24
Elam is there and all her multitude around her grave. All of them slain, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised to the land beneath, who placed their terror in the land of the living. And they bear their disgrace with those descending to the pit.
25
In the midst of the slain they have placed a bed for her with all her multitude. Her graves are all around her. All of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword. For their terror was placed in the land of the living, and they bear their disgrace with those descending to the pit. In the midst of the slain she is placed.

Meshekh and Tuval are there and all their multitude. Their graves are all around them. All of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they placed their terror in the land of the living.
27
And they do not lie with the mighty ones who fell from among the uncircumcised, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and whose swords were placed beneath their heads, and whose crookednesses were upon their bones, because the terror of the mighty ones was in the land of the living.
28
But you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised and shall lie with those slain by the sword.
29
Edom is there, her kings and all her rulers, who in their might were placed with those slain by the sword. With the uncircumcised they lie, and with those descending to the pit.
30
There are the rulers of the north, all of them, and all the Tzidonim, who went down with the slain in shame, despite the terror caused by their might. And they lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword, and bear their disgrace with those descending to the pit.
31
Pharaoh shall see them and be comforted concerning all his multitude— Pharaoh and all his host, slain by the sword,” declares Adonai Yahuah.
32
“For I placed his terror in the land of the living, yet he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword— Pharaoh and all his multitude,” declares Adonai Yahuah.
