1
“And you, son of Adam, prophesy to the mountains of Yisra’el and say: ‘Mountains of Yisra’el, hear the Word of Yahuah.
2
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: Because the enemy has said against you: “Aha! Even the ancient high places have become our possession,”
3
therefore prophesy and say: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahuah: Because, yes, because they made you desolate and swallowed you from all around, so that you became a possession to the remnant of the nations, and you were taken up upon the lips of tongues and became the slander of the people,
4
therefore, mountains of Yisra’el, hear the Word of Adonai Yahuah. Thus says Adonai Yahuah to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, to the desolate ruins, and to the abandoned cities that became plunder and mockery to the remnant of the nations all around—
5
therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the remnant of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with rejoicing of all the heart, with contempt of being, to drive it out for plunder.’

Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Yisra’el and say to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahuah: See, in My jealousy and in My wrath I have spoken, because you have borne the reproach of the nations.
7
Therefore thus says Adonai Yahuah: I Myself have lifted up My hand: surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own reproach.
8
But you, mountains of Yisra’el, shall put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Yisra’el, for they are near to come.
9
For see, I am for you, and I will turn toward you, and you shall be worked and sown.
10
And I will multiply Adam upon you— all the House of Yisra’el, all of it. And the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.
11
And I will multiply upon you Adam and beast, and they shall multiply and bear fruit. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and I will do better to you than at your beginnings. And you shall know that I am Yahuah.
12
And I will cause Adam to walk upon you— My people Yisra’el. And they shall possess you, and you shall become their Inheritance. And you shall no longer bereave them again.’
13
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Because they say to you: “You are a devourer of Adam, and you bereave your nation,”
14
therefore you shall no longer devour Adam, and your nation you shall no longer bereave,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.
15
‘And I will no longer cause the reproach of the nations to be heard against you. And the insult of the peoples you shall no longer bear, and your nation you shall no longer cause to stumble,’ declares Adonai Yahuah.”
16
And the Word of Yahuah came to me, saying:
17
“Son of Adam, the House of Yisra’el dwelt upon their own ground, and they made it unclean by their way and by their deeds. Like the uncleanness of an ishah in her separation was their way before My face.
18
And I poured out My wrath upon them because of the blood that they had shed upon the land, and because of their idols with which they made it unclean.
19
And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the lands. According to their way and according to their deeds I judged them.
20
And when they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My Holy Name, when it was said of them: ‘These are the people of Yahuah, yet from His land they have gone out.’
21
But I had compassion for My Holy Name, which the House of Yisra’el had profaned among the nations where they went.
22
Therefore say to the House of Yisra’el: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahuah: Not for your sake am I doing this, House of Yisra’el, but for My Holy Name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
23
And I will set apart My great Name, which was profaned among the nations, which you profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I am Yahuah,’ declares Adonai Yahuah, ‘when I am set apart through you before their eyes.
24
And I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all the lands, and bring you to your own ground.
25
And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean. From all your uncleannesses and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
26
And I will give you a new heart, and a new Ruach I will place within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh.
27
And My Ruach I will place within you, and I will cause you to walk in My statutes, and My Judgments you shall guard and do.
28
And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My People, and I shall be your Elohim.
29
And I will save you from all your uncleannesses. And I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not place famine upon you.
30
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you shall no longer receive the reproach of famine among the nations.
31
And you shall remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you shall loathe yourselves in your own faces because of your crookednesses and because of your abominations.
32
Not for your sake am I doing this,’ declares Adonai Yahuah. ‘Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and be confounded because of your ways, House of Yisra’el.’
33
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘In the day that I cleanse you from all your crookednesses, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.
34
And the desolate land shall be worked, instead of being a desolation before the eyes of everyone passing by.
35
And they shall say: “This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the ruined, desolate, and demolished cities are fortified and inhabited.”
36
And the nations that remain around you shall know that I, Yahuah, have rebuilt what was demolished and planted what was desolate. I, Yahuah, have spoken, and I will do it.’
37
Thus says Adonai Yahuah: ‘Yet for this I will be sought by the House of Yisra’el, to do it for them: I will multiply them with Adam like a flock.
38
Like the flock of holy offerings, like the flock of Yerushalayim in her appointed times, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of Adam. And they shall know that I am Yahuah.’”
