1
Thus says Yahuah: “Where is the sefer of your mother’s divorce, by which I sent her away? Or to which of My creditors did I sell you? See, for your crookedness you were sold, and for your transgressions your mother was sent away.
2
Why, when I came, was there no ish? When I called, was there none answering? Has My hand become too short to redeem? Or is there no power in Me to deliver? See, by My rebuke I dry the sea; I make rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.
3
I clothe the heavens with darkness and appoint sackcloth as their covering.”
4
Adonai Yahuah has given Me the tongue of those taught, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. Morning by morning He awakens; He awakens My ear to hear as those taught.
5
Adonai Yahuah opened My ear, and I did not rebel; I did not turn backward.
6
I gave My back to those striking and My cheeks to those pulling out the beard. My face I did not hide from reproach and spitting.
7
But Adonai Yahuah helps Me; therefore I am not humiliated. Therefore I set My face like flint, and I know I shall not be ashamed.
8
The One justifying Me is near. Who shall contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is master of My Judgment? Let him draw near to Me.
9
See, Adonai Yahuah helps Me. Who is he who condemns Me? See, all of them wear out like a garment; moth consumes them.
10
Who among you fears Yahuah, hearing the voice of His Servant? The one walking in darkness, with no light— let him trust in the Name of Yahuah and lean upon his Elohim.
11
See, all of you kindling a fire, encircling yourselves with sparks: walk in the light of your fire and among the sparks you have kindled. From My hand this shall be yours: in pain you shall lie down.
