1
Who has trusted our report? And to whom has the arm of Yahuah been revealed?
2
For He grew up before His face like a tender shoot, and like a root from dry ground. He had no form and no splendor that we should look upon Him, and no appearance that we should desire Him.
3
He was despised and rejected by men, an ish of pains and one knowing sickness. And as one from whom the face is hidden, He was despised, and we did not consider Him.
4
Surely He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. Yet we considered Him struck, smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
5
But He was pierced because of our transgressions; He was crushed because of our crookedness. The correction for our shalom was upon Him, and by His wounds healing came to us.
6
All of us like sheep have wandered; each ish turned to his own way. And Yahuah caused the crookedness of us all to meet upon Him.
7
He was pressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb He was led to slaughter, and like a ewe silent before those shearing her, He did not open His mouth.
8
From restraint and from Judgment He was taken. And His generation—who considered that He was cut off from the land of the living, because of the transgression of My people, the blow belonging to them?
9
And they appointed His grave with the wicked, and with a rich one in His deaths, though He had done no violence and no deceit was in His mouth.
10
Yet Yahuah desired to crush Him; He caused Him sickness. When His being appoints a guilt offering, He shall see seed; He shall prolong days, and the desire of Yahuah shall prosper in His hand.
11
From the labor of His being He shall see and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall cause many to be righteous, and He Himself shall bear their crookedness.
12
Therefore I shall divide to Him among the many, and with the mighty He shall divide spoil, because He poured out His being to death and was numbered with transgressors. Yet He bore the sin of many and interceded for transgressors.
