1
See, the hand of Yahuah is not too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear.
2
But your crookedness has separated between you and your Elohim, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
3
For your palms are defiled with blood and your fingers with crookedness. Your lips speak falsehood; your tongue mutters perversity.
4
None calls in Righteousness, and none enters Judgment in faithfulness. They trust in emptiness and speak vanity. Conceiving trouble, they give birth to crookedness.
5
They hatch eggs of a viper and weave a spider’s web. The one eating from their eggs dies, and that which is crushed hatches a viper.
6
Their webs do not become garments, nor do they cover themselves with their works. Their works are works of crookedness, and an act of violence is in their palms.
7
Their feet run to evil and hurry to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of crookedness; destruction and fracture are in their highways.
8
The way of shalom they do not know, and there is no Judgment in their paths. They have made their tracks crooked; everyone walking upon them does not know shalom.
9
Therefore Judgment is far from us, and Righteousness does not reach us. We wait for light, but see darkness; for brightness, but in gloom we walk.
10
We feel for the wall like the blind and feel as those without eyes. We stumble at midday as in twilight; among the strong we are like dead ones.
11
All of us growl like bears, and moaning, we moan like doves. We wait for Judgment, but there is none; for Salvation, but it is far from us.
12
For our transgressions are many before You, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, and our crookedness—we know them:
13
transgressing and denying Yahuah, turning backward from our Elohim; speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14
And Judgment is driven backward, and Righteousness stands far away. For truth stumbles in the street, and uprightness is unable to enter.
15
Truth is absent, and the one turning away from evil makes himself prey. And Yahuah saw, and it was evil in His eyes that there was no Judgment.
16
He saw that there was no ish and was astonished that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought Salvation for Him, and His Righteousness upheld Him.
17
He clothed Himself with Righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of Salvation upon His head. He clothed Himself with garments of vengeance as clothing and wrapped Himself in zeal as a mantle.
18
According to the deeds, so He shall repay: fury to His adversaries, repayment to His enemies; to the coastlands He shall repay their deed.
19
And they shall fear the Name of Yahuah from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the adversary comes like a narrow river, the ruach of Yahuah shall drive against him.
20
“And a Redeemer shall come to Tziyon, and to those in Yaaqov turning from transgression,” declares Yahuah.
21
“And as for Me, this is My Covenant with them,” says Yahuah. “My ruach that is upon you, and My Words that I placed in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed’s seed,” says Yahuah, “from now and forever.”
