1
The ruach of Adonai Yahuah is upon me, because Yahuah has anointed me to proclaim good news to the lowly. He has sent me to bind the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and opening to those bound;
2
to proclaim the year of favor of Yahuah and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all who mourn;
3
to appoint for those mourning in Tziyon— to give them a headdress instead of ashes, oil of joy instead of mourning, a mantle of praise instead of a faint ruach. And they shall be called mighty trees of Righteousness, the planting of Yahuah, that He may be glorified.
4
And they shall build the ancient ruins; they shall raise the former desolations. They shall renew the ruined cities, the desolations of generation and generation.
5
Foreigners shall stand and shepherd your flocks, and sons of the foreigner shall be your farmers and your vine dressers.
6
But you shall be called Kohenim of Yahuah; Servants of our Elohim shall be said of you. You shall eat the wealth of nations, and in their glory you shall boast.
7
Instead of your shame—double; and instead of humiliation, they shall shout for joy in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall inherit double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.
8
For I, Yahuah, love Judgment; I hate robbery with crookedness. I shall give their work in truth and cut an everlasting Covenant with them.
9
Their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All who see them shall recognize them, that they are the seed Yahuah has favored.
10
Rejoicing, I rejoice in Yahuah; my being exults in my Elohim. For He has clothed me with garments of Salvation; He has wrapped me with the mantle of Righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns himself like a kohen, and as a bride adorns herself with her vessels.
11
For as the earth brings forth its sprout, and as a garden causes its seed to spring forth, so Adonai Yahuah shall cause Righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
