1
And I lifted my eyes and saw, and see, an ish with a measuring line in his hand.
2
And I said: “Where are you going?” And he said to me: “To measure Yerushalayim, to see what is her width and what is her length.”
3
And see, the messenger who spoke with me went out, and another messenger went out to meet him.
4
And he said to him: “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Yerushalayim shall be inhabited like unwalled villages, because of the multitude of Adam and beasts within her.
5
And I,’ declares Yahuah, ‘will be to her a wall of fire all around, and I will be the Glory in her midst.’
6
Ho! Ho! Flee from the land of the north,” declares Yahuah, “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of the heavens,” declares Yahuah.
7
Ho, Tziyon! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Bavel.
8
For thus says Yahuah of Hosts: “After the Glory, He sent me to the nations that plundered you, for the one who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.
9
For see, I will wave My hand over them, and they shall become plunder to their servants. And you shall know that Yahuah of Hosts has sent me.
10
Sing and rejoice, daughter of Tziyon, for see, I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst,” declares Yahuah.
11
And many nations shall join themselves to Yahuah in that day, and they shall become My People. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that Yahuah of Hosts has sent me to you.
12
And Yahuah shall inherit Yehudah as His portion upon the holy ground, and He shall again choose Yerushalayim.
13
Be silent, all flesh, before the face of Yahuah, for He has awakened from His holy dwelling.
