1
And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh, saying,
2
“On the first day of the first month, you shall raise up the Dwelling, the Tent of Meeting.
3
And you shall place there the ark of the Testimony, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
4
And you shall bring in the table and arrange what belongs upon it, and you shall bring in the menorah and cause its lamps to go up.
5
And you shall place the golden altar for incense before the ark of the Testimony, and set the screen for the entrance of the Dwelling.
6
And you shall place the altar of ascending offering before the entrance of the Dwelling, the Tent of Meeting.
7
And you shall place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.
8
And you shall set up the courtyard all around, and hang the screen at the gate of the courtyard.
9
And you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the Dwelling and all that is in it, and set it apart and all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
10
And you shall anoint the altar of ascending offering and all its vessels, and set apart the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
11
And you shall anoint the basin and its base and set it apart.
12
And you shall bring Aharon and his sons near to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water.
13
And you shall clothe Aharon with the holy garments, and anoint him, and set him apart, that he may serve Me as kohen.
14
And you shall bring his sons near and clothe them with tunics.
15
And you shall anoint them as you anointed their father, that they may serve Me as kohenim. And their anointing shall be for them an everlasting kehunah throughout their generations.”
16
And Mosheh did according to all that Yahuah had commanded him; so he did.
17
And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the Dwelling was raised up.
18
And Mosheh raised up the Dwelling and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and placed its bars, and raised up its pillars.
19
And he spread the tent over the Dwelling and placed the covering of the tent over it from above, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
20
And he took the Testimony and placed it into the ark, and set the poles upon the ark, and placed the covering of atonement upon the ark from above.
21
And he brought the ark into the Dwelling and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the Testimony, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
22
And he placed the table in the Tent of Meeting, upon the north side of the Dwelling, outside the veil.
23
And he arranged upon it the arrangement of bread before Yahuah, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
24
And he placed the menorah in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table, upon the south side of the Dwelling.
25
And he caused the lamps to go up before Yahuah, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
26
And he placed the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil.
27
And he burned upon it fragrant incense, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
28
And he set the screen at the entrance of the Dwelling.
29
And he placed the altar of ascending offering at the entrance of the Dwelling, the Tent of Meeting, and offered upon it the ascending offering and the grain offering, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
30
And he placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and placed water there for washing.
31
And Mosheh and Aharon and his sons washed from it their hands and their feet.
32
When they entered the Tent of Meeting, and when they drew near to the altar, they washed, according to what Yahuah had commanded Mosheh.
33
And he raised up the courtyard around the Dwelling and the altar, and placed the screen at the gate of the courtyard. And Mosheh completed the work.
34
And the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Yahuah filled the Dwelling.
35
And Mosheh was not able to enter the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud rested upon it, and the glory of Yahuah filled the Dwelling.
36
And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Dwelling, the sons of Yisra’el would journey throughout all their journeys.
37
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey until the day it was taken up.
38
For the cloud of Yahuah was upon the Dwelling by day, and fire was in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Yisra’el throughout all their journeys.
