1
But know this: in the last days difficult times shall come.
2
For people shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of silver, boastful, arrogant, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3
without natural affection, unwilling to reconcile, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good,
4
betrayers, reckless, swollen with pride, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim,
5
holding an outward form of reverence, but denying its power. Turn away from such people.
6
For from among these are those who creep into households and take captive vulnerable women burdened with sins, being led by various desires,
7
always learning yet never able to come to recognition of the truth.
8
And just as Yannes and Yambres opposed Mosheh, so these also oppose the truth— people corrupted in mind, rejected concerning the trust.
9
But they shall not advance much further, for their foolishness shall become evident to everyone, just as that of those men also did.
10
But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, trust, patience, love, endurance,
11
persecutions, sufferings— what happened to me in Antioch, in Ikonion, and in Lystra; what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Master delivered me.
12
Indeed, all who desire to live reverently in Yahushua the Anointed shall be persecuted.
13
But evil people and impostors shall advance from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14
But you, remain in the things you learned and were persuaded of, knowing from whom you learned them,
15
and that from childhood you have known the set-apart writings, which are able to make you wise toward deliverance through trust in Yahushua the Anointed.
16
Every writing breathed by Elohim is also useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness,
17
so that the Adam of Elohim may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
