1
I charge you before Elohim and Yahushua the Anointed, who is about to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his Kingdom:
2
proclaim the Word. Stand ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.
3
For a time shall come when they shall not endure sound teaching, but according to their own desires they shall gather teachers for themselves, having ears that demand to be scratched,
4
and they shall turn their hearing away from the truth and turn aside toward myths.
5
But you, remain sober in all things. Endure hardship. Do the work of one proclaiming the Besorah. Fulfill your service.
6
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has drawn near.
7
I have fought the good fight. I have completed the course. I have guarded the trust.
8
From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give me in that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing.
9
Be diligent to come to me quickly.
10
For Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went to Thessalonike. Kreskes went to Galatia, Titos to Dalmatia.
11
Louqas alone is with me. Take Marqos and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.
12
But Tychikos I sent to Ephesos.
13
When you come, bring the cloak which I left at Troas with Karpos, and the sefarim, especially the parchments.
14
Alexandros, the metalworker, did me much harm. The Master shall repay him according to his works.
15
You also guard yourself against him, for he strongly opposed our words.
16
At my first defense, no one stood with me, but everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them.
17
But the Master stood beside me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be completed, and all the nations might hear. And I was delivered from the mouth of the lion.
18
The Master shall deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be glory to the ages of the ages. Amein.
19
Greet Prisqa and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphoros.
20
Erastos remained in Corinth, but Trophimos I left in Miletos because he was sick.
21
Be diligent to come before winter. Euboulos greets you, and Pudens, and Linos, and Klaudia, and all the brothers.
22
The Master be with your ruach. Grace be with you.
