Book 2 — Chapter 6 — Calamities Overtake the Yehudim after the Time of Yahushua

Eusebius interprets several disasters in Yehudi history as consequences of rejecting Yahushua, a theological judgment that belongs to his Christian historiography and is not presented here as neutral causation. Historically, he recounts disorders under Pilate and later governors, conflicts over imperial images and sacred space, violence in Alexandria, and growing instability in Yehudah. He draws on Yosephus and Philo for concrete events while adding his own providential interpretation. HaSefarim keeps these layers distinct: the political crises are historical reports from Eusebius's sources; the claim that they are direct punishment for opposition to Yahushua is Eusebius's theological reading.
