Book 10 — Chapter 5 - Copies of Imperial Laws
Book X celebrates restoration after persecution, records imperial laws and privileges, and closes with Constantine's victory and Eusebius's providential interpretation of the new imperial order. A major feature of the chapter is documentary: Eusebius transmits, summarizes, or frames a letter, decree, or other writing because he wants the reader to see the institutional record rather than rely on his narration alone. In this reconstruction the chapter coordinate is preserved as Book 10, Chapter 5, and the full subject is retained under the heading 'Copies of Imperial Laws'. Names, dates, quoted-source relationships, and political or textual function are kept distinct from Eusebius's own interpretive claims.
