Book 10 — Chapter 7 - Exemption of Clergy from Public Burdens
Book X celebrates restoration after persecution, records imperial laws and privileges, and closes with Constantine's victory and Eusebius's providential interpretation of the new imperial order. The chapter advances Eusebius's chronological chain by identifying the people, writings, disputes, and public events that connect one generation of the assemblies to the next. In this reconstruction the chapter coordinate is preserved as Book 10, Chapter 7, and the full subject is retained under the heading 'Exemption of Clergy from Public Burdens'. Names, dates, quoted-source relationships, and political or textual function are kept distinct from Eusebius's own interpretive claims.
