1
“You shall not make for yourselves idols, and a carved image or pillar you shall not raise up for yourselves, and a figured stone you shall not place in your land to bow yourselves upon it, for I am Yahuah your Elohim.
2
My Shabbatot you shall guard, and My sanctuary you shall fear. I am Yahuah.
3
If you walk in My statutes and guard My commandments and do them,
4
then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall give its produce, and the tree of the field shall give its fruit.
5
And your threshing shall reach to the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall reach to the sowing, and you shall eat your bread to fullness and dwell securely in your land.
6
And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down with none making you afraid. And I will cause evil beasts to cease from the land, and the sword shall not pass through your land.
7
And you shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8
And five of you shall pursue one hundred, and one hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9
And I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish My covenant with you.
10
And you shall eat old harvest long stored, and you shall bring out the old because of the new.
11
And I will place My Dwelling in your midst, and My being shall not reject you.
12
And I will walk in your midst, and I will be your Elohim, and you shall be My people.
13
I am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out from the land of Mitzrayim, from being their servants. And I broke the bars of your yoke and caused you to walk upright.
14
But if you do not listen to Me and do not do all these commandments,
15
and if you reject My statutes, and if your being abhors My judgments so that you do not do all My commandments, breaking My covenant,
16
then I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and cause the being to languish. And you shall sow your seed for emptiness, for your enemies shall eat it.
17
And I will set My face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies. Those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.
18
And if after these things you still do not listen to Me, then I will discipline you sevenfold for your sins.
19
And I will break the pride of your strength, and I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.
20
And your strength shall be spent for emptiness, for your land shall not give its produce, and the trees of the land shall not give their fruit.
21
And if you walk contrary to Me and are unwilling to listen to Me, then I will add upon you sevenfold plagues according to your sins.
22
And I will send against you the beast of the field, and it shall bereave you of children and cut off your livestock and make you few, and your roads shall become desolate.
23
And if by these things you are not corrected by Me, but walk contrary to Me,
24
then I also will walk contrary to you, and I Myself will strike you sevenfold for your sins.
25
And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the vengeance of the covenant. And you shall be gathered into your cities, and I will send pestilence into your midst, and you shall be given into the hand of the enemy.
26
When I break for you the staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall return your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.
27
And if through this you still do not listen to Me, but walk contrary to Me,
28
then I will walk contrary to you in fury, and I Myself will discipline you sevenfold for your sins.
29
And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you shall eat.
30
And I will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars, and I will place your corpses upon the corpses of your idols, and My being shall abhor you.
31
And I will make your cities a desolation and lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will not smell the aroma of your pleasing offerings.
32
And I Myself will make the land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished over it.
33
And you I will scatter among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you. And your land shall become desolate, and your cities shall become ruins.
34
Then the land shall enjoy its Shabbatot all the days of its desolation, while you are in the land of your enemies. Then the land shall rest and enjoy its Shabbatot.
35
All the days of its desolation it shall rest, what it did not rest in your Shabbatot when you dwelt upon it.
36
And as for those who remain among you, I will bring faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a driven leaf shall pursue them, and they shall flee as one flees from the sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues.
37
And they shall stumble each ish over his brother as before the sword, though no one pursues, and you shall have no strength to stand before your enemies.
38
And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall consume you.
39
And those who remain among you shall waste away in their iniquity in the lands of your enemies, and also in the iniquities of their fathers with them they shall waste away.
40
But they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their unfaithfulness by which they acted unfaithfully against Me, and also that they walked contrary to Me.
41
I also walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies. Then, if their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they accept the punishment of their iniquity,
42
then I will remember My covenant with Yaaqov, and also My covenant with Yitzchaq, and also My covenant with Avraham I will remember, and I will remember the land.
43
And the land shall be abandoned by them and shall enjoy its Shabbatot while it lies desolate without them. And they shall accept the punishment of their iniquity, because—yes, because—they rejected My judgments and their being abhorred My statutes.
44
And yet, even when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I abhor them so as to consume them completely and break My covenant with them, for I am Yahuah their Elohim.
45
But for their sake I will remember the covenant of the first ones, whom I brought out from the land of Mitzrayim before the eyes of the nations, to be their Elohim. I am Yahuah.”
46
These are the statutes, and the judgments, and the Torot that Yahuah set between Himself and the sons of Yisra’el on Mount Sinai by the hand of Mosheh.
