as it is written in the tables, which He gave into my hands that I should write out for you the rulings of the seasons, and the seasons according to the division of their days. Herewith is completed the account of the division of the days. Provenance Ledger Native/original layer Jubilees presents an Ivrit covenantal and calendrical architecture. Substantial Ivrit fragments survive from the Judean Desert, but no complete Ivrit manuscript is extant. Status: IVRIT SUBSTRATE AND FRAGMENTARY DIRECT WITNESS. Complete eastern witness The complete continuous text survives in Geʽez as Maṣḥafa Kufālē. The 1895 Charles critical edition collates four Ethiopic manuscripts and compares the surviving Ivrit, Syriac, Greek, and Latin fragments. Status: COMPLETE GEʽEZ CONTROL WITNESS, critically adjudicated rather than treated as mechanically infallible. Coordinate layer The public-domain Charles English text supplies the continuous comparison body. The expanded Hebrew-aligned digital segmentation supplies 1,758 textual units: one prologue and 1,757 numbered units across 50 chapters. Its Anglicized names, generic divine titles, archaic grammar, editorial conjectures, and early scholarly assumptions do not govern this reconstruction. Relational Geʽez control The AGE parallel Maṣḥafa Kufālē corpus supplies 1,282 aligned Geʽez-English semantic units. Its segmentation differs from the conventional verse grid; alignment count is therefore not substituted for textual completeness. It is used to keep the Geʽez wording, syntax, and category structure visible during reconstruction. Unresolved register Where surviving Ivrit fragments, Geʽez readings, later versions, and the coordinate witness diverge, the edition preserves uncertainty rather than fabricating a lost continuous Ivrit text. Editorial brackets remain evidence markers, not decorative punctuation. KIDAN–B’ERIT decision rule IVRIT + GEʽEZ → ROOT → FUNCTION → RELATION → BEST-PRESERVED FORM → CROSS-LANGUAGE BRIDGE → SEMITIC CORROBORATION → FRESH ENGLISH. Native Ivrit remains Ivrit; genuine Geʽez remains Geʽez; English remains the final gloss.
